I had my computer system connected to a UPS 650 VA. A few days ago, my monitor started experiencing brightness fluctuations, & after that, it completely malfunctioned. I borrowed my friend's monitor, but it also started having brightness issues so I immediately stopped using it, unfortunately my gaming motherboard got damaged/malfunctioned whereas, my android TV and router are still running fine on the same power socket/board where my computer UPS is connected.

I'm not sure where this issue lies,

whether it's in the cabling
or computer's 650-watt power supply,
or maybe UPS overloading,
or power socket/board
or what else

I need advice from all of you to figure it out as I am currently avoiding setting up a new system to prevent further damage

JazakAllah

Disconnect the UPS and try to run it without, nobody can diagonose the problem if the UPS is the culprit!

And BTW if you have already tried without the UPS and your stuff still keeps getting broken than the issue might be with your home's electricity wiring, i've seen this before a friend had the same issue turns out it was static current in his home wiring.

Normal UPS is not good for critical PC components.
You need to buy an inverter UPS that is made for PCs.

Buy a sine-wave UPS inverter that will deliver a smooth, clean AC power to your PSU. This is the only type of UPS recommended for gaming PCs.

Also, you should choose one with an output watt capacity 20-25% higher than the total wattage of the connected devices.

Any specific model ? Is a dry battery ups inverter good enough?

I m now quite sure that the UPS may have caused sudden damage to my PC components. The reason I suspect this is that my LED TV and router are operating without any issues (connected to the same power outlet).

Homage, Inverex, and APC are reliable inverter brands.

I have a 2x 3KW Inverex inverters that power all my electronic and non-electronic devices without any issues.

Dry battery is expensive. I recommend tubular batteries for the inverter. I have 4x200Ah Inverex and Phoenix tubular batteries for the inverters. These batteries last for 5+ years without issues. AGS and other brands are not reliable.

You can read more about good brand inverters here.

Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
