Whitelisted IPs for VPN

ASAK brothers, As I'm sure quite a few of you might be aware, some genius in PTA decided to block telephony services and VPNs which caused huge losses to call centres operating here. They now require call centres to register themselves as companies/businesses and register their IPs with PTA to be allowed to use telephony services.

I'm working online from home for a US company that doesn't have a base of operations here so obviously no way to register the company here. They told me to find out if there is/are any company selling PTA whitelisted IPs which allow use of telephony services. Would anyone here be aware of any such provider?

TIA!

VPNs are still unblocked for the time being. PTA extended the date for registration.

Also, if I understood correctly, what you're asking for is to buy IP addresses? That wouldn't help.

Once the ban is implemented, you'll have to contact PTA yourself to sort this out.

Yes, my company would be willing to buy a whitelisted IP if I can use that to make calls. Although VPNs may be working, VoIP still isn't (at least for me). I'm using an app called RingCentral which allocates me a US number which I can use to communicate with clients/customers in US/Can. I tried just now, calling is blocked. My company has a different subsidiary in Karachi for which they received license from PTA after completing all their formalities including paperwork and office visit by representative(s) of the retarded organization. I'm in a totally different department and working from home so above formalities not feasible for me...

Unfortunately you're out of luck then. PTA hastily made this stupid decision without realising how it would affect people working from home. I know someone who's no longer able to access his US work VPN because of this, but so many regular VPNs are working.

Does your VoIP app work if you have a normal VPN running in the background?

I can still send and receive texts using the app but calling is blocked unfortunately regardless of whether or not I have a VPN.

We're going further and further back in time as the world around us keeps moving ahead...

I’ve been in a similar spot working remotely for a company not based here. It's really tough with all the rules we have to follow, but I found something that works for me.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
