For Taxes :

Everyone on want's cheap items. But internationally it's entire different. Customs are supposed to support the Govt in many flayed reasons and every custom rule is being operated Internationally is under " Operative of Countries Logistics " rule.
I seen with my own experience, that Fed-ex and DHL operating in Pakistan have some weird charges that might hurt and also would increase a substanstial amount on your item.
They operate at per day charges at ICG ( khi , lhr , isb ) airports and they have to pay some charges like per hour as well. The faster you claim to relase your item, the less chances of getting the item to more expensive.

Electronics have a duty of upto 77% in total with some charges like D.R, G.S.T, CAA fee, insurance and damage charges per day, port landing fee, GD and more.
Agents in such domains are supposed to get you a discount upto 35 percent including " greasing " and unfortunately this is our culture in Pakistan. Offical personals like Govt and Armed forces, bureaucrats have to pay like 21%. Ask for someone who can help u in your " personal " case.

Benefits of paying full customs :
- You can claim the additional amount given to the govt and waive of a lot of incentives like school fee, university fee, scholarship programmes ( govt operated only ).
- Rebates on International tenders and NTN is easy to create
- Visa and official documents makes it easy for your case to be " Granted "
- Anyone into a "Freelance " business should make a NTN and do business by making an " Company " operated bank account under " Proprietor " title.
- A limit of Rps : 250,000/= - 450,000/= should fall in an for a tax exemption after deduction all expenses and make sure you are " under services " category.

and plenty more.

Why all of this never came up to knowledge as " grease culture " is always adding in an handsome amount of those who are on their seat and supporting their own domain. No one wants to enlighten the benefits of paying up taxes " Legally "

Ordering a single used GPU from abroad, one package, any issues?

So I am planning on ordering a used GPU from abroad. I noticed a thread here about someone who was having issues with a particular Tablet PC because of some new law.

Wanted to know if it was 'safe' to order a single GPU as I've heard from countless people that if you order a single item for personal use they dont go through customs.

Anything has IMEI requires a document from pta to get it release from customs, If the gpu has no IMEI number and one for personal use then there will be no problem at all

Assalam-0-Alaikum Cerebrus and ahmed anas , GPUs don't carry an IMEI number. They are not classified as communication devices... Therefore it is completely safe to import such items from abroad or request someone to bring them for you. GPUs do not have SIM.

Hahaha.i was just being overly cautious, in case there may have been some new law regarding computers as well.
