[Important] Marketplace Changes Involving Premium Sellers (And More!)

Salaam and Eid Mubarak!

This announcement marks the first of several marketplace changes to come in the upcoming few weeks.

We will be revamping and updating the rulebook and posting it soon, however something that has been brought to my attention numerous times and has to be enacted immediately is that the premium sellers CAN NOT post more than TWO active threads in the marketplace OUTSIDE their respective e-Malls.

Some further clarification on this:

-> You are allowed to make as many threads as you want in YOUR EMALL.

-> You CAN NOT make more than two threads in the regular sections. Selling graphic cards? Sell all of them in ONE thread. Add links to your emall threads in one thread if you want to make it in the regular sections.


You have time till 5 July to update your threads such that the items are linked in two active threads. Once you have done that, PM me the link of the two threads you guys want to keep as I will be deleting the rest of them.

Failure to do so will result in all your regular marketplace section threads being deleted. I will personally be deleting them on the 5th and there will be no time extensions.


Finally, please let me introduce you guys to [MENTION=139299]hannabaker[/MENTION], who will now be managing e-Mall subscriptions.


One last thing, we will be bringing in new marketplace moderators soon. If you feel that you have what it takes to be there, please PM me about it and we'll see if you match our criteria!

To resolve these issues, something very exciting is being worked on. You will get atleast 3 times more exposure with the upcoming solution. And making marketplace strict is part of driving out the bulk selling people who freely want to compete with premium members

Haan bhai. Har cheez anti-PG hoti hay because we always upset a few people no matter what action you take, don't we?

Na kero restrict, toh aam banda kehta hay 'Where is PG headed. This is anti-PG. Market Place is swarmed by premium sellers'. Aur agar kerdo, toh premium seller kehta hay 'Where is PG headed. This is anti-PG. We can't make as many threads as we want in the normal market place sections'.


Well. Guess what. We can't make everyone happy.

Getting Premium Seller accounts DOES NOT MEAN that people can exploit the regular marketplace.

Rahi baat opportunity to make dozens of threads.
This is a GAMING forum, not a classifieds website. We value each member equally, that includes the right of premium sellers, as well as the rights of the regular members, which forms the core, the heart of PG.
We have a marketplace because we want our members to be able to trade a few things. Let me reiterate. This is NOT a classifieds website. This is a gaming forum.


Some actions always have to be taken in order to ensure the greater good. Please see the bigger picture here rather than your sales getting affected. You're still allowed two active threads in the forums. Make them count! Instead of making 6 different threads for 6 different games, all you have to do is put all the games in one thread. Further, you're absolutely allowed to link your other threads in your thread, and link people to your stores.

Finally, there will be an E-Mall upgrade very very soon that will be extremely beneficial for all the Premium Sellers here. I wish I could disclose more at this point, but stay tuned, because, I promise you guys, some really nice changes are coming up that will not only triple the exposure you guys get, but also, make the entire process much more smoother for both, buyers and sellers, and more secure too!

Like I said. This is only the beginning.

When I carried this out, I knew there would be rejection and disapproval by some, however, like I said, I have to see the bigger picture here. We must find a common ground that is acceptable by both parties. Unless you guys try to see things from a neutral perspective, actions will always seem biased, no matter who the party be, buyer, seller, or neither.
