Moving abroad after BBA

You will be far less valuable with an MBA and no experience, than with BBA and some experience. We have to let this attitude go, where we have to finish the studies first before getting on with the professional life. Speaking from personal experience here. I highly discourage this. People in western societies are way ahead of us until they finish their graduation.

About the life in UAE ... if you are getting good money here. It's brilliant. Safe. Exciting. But there is no future here. It's like a machine, where you just grind yourself in the beginning and come out ruined on the other end. It's an experience, so you should most definitely try it once in your life. BUT, do it when you have some experience in your hand. Inexperienced or Unskilled people should never come here, or risk losing their mind.

Yes you may not be able to fulfill your desires with low-paying jobs in PK, like nice car, latest tech or phones etc etc. But hold your horses until you get some experience. It's not all glitters as it looks on TV. Dubai is like a New York of UAE. It looks very exciting and catchy from afar. You will definitely be able to afford expensive stuff, without much problem as it's almost in your reach. BUT at the cost of what? Your family, friends, or your own life? You won't have enough time for yourself. So how you'll enjoy it? Think about it.

As for doing business ... it will still require you to have SOME sort of industry experience, to be able to properly grow. So there's that as well.

Alright, I get it but to be honest, the jobs are paying WAY LESS than I expected. 15,000 for an accountant? 12 thousand would be my fuel expense or maybe more than that. I have a telemarketing job offer next to my house and they're offering me more, A LOT more than the field i.e. accounting etc.

If it makes you feel any better ... I worked FREE of Cost for a good 3-4 years of my life. Never said 'NO' to anything, small or big. Learned A LOT. I will be honest. I was able to do that because i had adequate support from my parents, so wasn't really bothered about 'earning and supporting' at that time.

My first proper job paid my less than 10k, for responsibilities worth well above 50k. Nailed it, so was promoted to Managerial position. Even then i never really managed to earn a 'handsome sum of money', and to this date, it's the same story. But ALHAMDULLILLAH, never really complained.

This is the world we are living in. Adapt and Survive. That's the only way. In Pakistan, when we have electables like Nawaz and Zardari, who pay more attention to roads and other sh*t than education, i only expect educated class to either become beggars, or drivers at best. So yes, you shouldn't expect a 'good pay' in Pakistan. Do it for the learning and experience.

I can go on and on with suggestions, sharing life experiences and sh*t. So understand something. You got to start somewhere. Take the first step and your focus and purpose will become clear in time. Currently, you are in a "Dangling Boat", with no real sense of purpose and objective. All in due time.

Also, NEVER EVER stop your Learning and Studies. You can start a small job "relevant to your field" (because this is what will count). In the meantime, you can do part time courses related to Tax and Accounting Software. It will enhance your skill and boost your confidence more.

Later on, when you have got some experience, you should start looking at Chartered Accountancy. CA (if you want to live in PK, because it's valued more here) or ACCA (if you want to move abroad, because it will give you greater flexibility in further qualifications.

Depends on your field. U should try applying for scholarship in Germany and other European countries where educational standards are competitive

Hi there, there's nothing wrong in going to Dubai with your BBA degree. Here there are many colleges in Dubai which offers high standard education, in which you can peruse your higher education's. There will be immediate placement from the university itself to reputable and good companies in Dubai and also to abroad.

Hello everyone. I've done BBA from Bahria university Islamabad and now I want to move abroad.

Which country would you guys recommend? Is it necessary to go on a student visa? Can't I just go to find work like Dubai where you just get visit visa, find work and then convert your visa? A little guidance will be appreciated.

education in dubai is so expensive .. i myself frequently keep updating myself with different certifications and currently i am doing Post Graduate Diploma .

but its super hard to manage expenses for MBA in Duba thus it is not recommanded... its like x17 times price of pakistan MBA

Still a much better approach and continuing study without any hands on experience from the industry.

For a good university you'll be looking at around 15k per year for Masters. If you can afford that, great come over and study. Universities are pretty good here but the main problem, at-least in Dublin is cost of living. Dublin has surpassed London in terms cost of living lol. Rents here are atrocious and everything is expensive. You'll need to bust your ass to make ends meet. It won't be pretty.

Student visa in Ireland only allows 20 hours per week of work and that's barely enough to cover rent and food expenses let alone your job. Other cities like Cork and Galway are much cheaper though so you can live there and go to uni there as well. Life abroad, especially as a student abroad is hard as fuck if you don't have money. Its not as glamorous as youtube and other desi's make it out to be. Considering all those points if you still want to come then Ireland is really great, the people are friendly and there's a sizable desi population here as well. The job market is pretty good too.

Life without money is hard "as fuck" everywhere on this planet my dear. No exceptions here.
Life in the European Community or the western world in general is pretty expensive.
There are ways to get the rent down when sharing a flat, but its best to know the people before you move in with them.
Better even is to have a small bust stable income that you could take with you.
