I converted from ptcl to fiber link first of all it took them to install internet at my place after 6 months so the ppl who have just applied to fiber link must have to wait a bit, secondly their support ppl are clueless they dont know how to handle customers who are paying them , third their downtime is increasing day by day even today when i am doing this post i got disconnected like 5-6 times and if you guys play DOTA2 then get ready for LP at least twice or thrice a week yes its true and since last one month i am on wattsapp with their support guys all the time complaining so please please dont waste your money go for storm fiber or fiber optix
Is PTCL expanding GPON to other areas in Lahore? I've been checking for 2 years and it only shows the same 4 areas where GPON is available.
The PTCL coverage area isn't regularly updated. It's from late 2016, maybe early 2017.
You'll have to inquire from your areas exchange to check availability.
Are you actually using GPON service at your house or did they just lay the fiber yet? Any idea if they are expanding to other DHA phases? Im in Phase-8 btw
Noop. Only fiber cables are laid. Gpon is operational in phase 4 currently. No idea regarding expansion in other phases.

It has been better than PTCL in my experience (I have PTCL installed as well). Almost everyone in my street has it (DHA2), no complaints.
Does anybody here know what Fiber ISPs are available near Thokar Niaz Baig chowk? I asked stormfiber, fiberlink & optix, but they all said no. Currently using PTCL DSL.
I am thinking about getting wateen fiber but I am bit hesitant as I couldn't find the legit user reviews about it from Karachi users

Unfortunately In my area I don't have stormfiber fiberlink optix Transworld even PTCL exchange isn't upgraded for gpon

Having been a customer of PTCL for around 2.5 decades, I finally switched to Fiberlink as soon as my area was covered with their services and have been their customer for around couple of areas. Pros of Fiberlink had been relatively stable connection and higher speeds + equal down and up links + cheapest. So far so good. But if and whenever a problem arises, or it's down time, that would be your worst nightmare. Still worst of all customer support. It'll be your sheer luck if the link gets up on its own.

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. I just want to say a giant F*** Y**! to Microsoft. THEY'VE F***ED UP BIG TIME this time.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
