Playing from Pakistan. Is it worth it?

Hello guys,

I will ask a direct and simple question.

Is it actually worth it to buy this game in Pakistan since the best ping you will be getting would be around 150 average. Is 150 ping enjoyable? Can you even score kills? Or are you just stuck with reviving team/throwing crates/capturing flags?

Yes, any of the modern games are very much playable at a ping up to 200MS.

Ofcourse its worth it.
Im enjoying games upto 250Ping.
Without any issue.
Average i get is 150 ping to europe
and 100 ping to asia.

40-60 to middle east...
So yeah.
Its totally worth it.

If you live in Islamabad (or a specific area in Karachi), you can get a Fiber to Home network (such as Nayatel) and enjoy sweet lowest pings. OR PTCL's fiber structure with FAST path might suffice (@StrikerX)

I've played bf3 well above 200 hours and mostly on servers above 200ms pings. You are at a disadvantage with that type of ping but believe me it never felt like a torture. I am not a good player myself but enjoyed the game.

Players like Pleasant, Blastwave, kingsface from pg had very good stats dispite playing on servers with such ping.

Just remembered, its been quite a while i have touched online multiplayer of any game ... as in, played it properly. Tried Titanfall, played BF4 for adequate amount of time, or tried out the new BETAs and stuff. Basically this ping issue (which is ONE of the issues) is pushing me away from multiplayer gaming.

Tough decision though. Whats the least amount of ping have you guys seen and what ISP you had? I have tried pinging Singapore BF4 servers via command prompt and it shows up at around 140ms.

I totally agree with you on that aspect, origin in itself was screwed up.
Didn't buy bf4 just because i didn't like the way it turned out, it went downhill for them after bf3.
I still regard bf3's multiplayer as one of the best though, really enjoyed it.

And its such a shame :S. Because i absolutely adored Battlefield 4's single player (as briefly posted here), so much that i was ready to buy this game just for its Single Player. And i don't think i need to mention the prolonged fixation for this heavily broken game. (those who have owned it can attest to this fact, and especially those who went back to BF3 from this sh*t).

I also wanted to purchase Rivals, but couldn't because of that freaking 30fps limit. mofos. Its like they are intentionally trying to screw everything.

hehehehehe we daily play cod bo2 on 300 pings and we are get used with it. sometime we even play with 500 pings our average ping is 250. and yet we have good stats. we.never touched 150. btw ping really sucks. Lol, same is the case here. I wanted to get fifa 15 and that process took me almost a month, why? because the transaction couldn't finish, it gave an error but the amount was deducted.
Had to wait 10 days to get my money back and then bought a key instead of buying from origin and not to mention the issues with the client update itself, its a pain in the rear :/
