To get a Vita now, Or wait for the slim one?

So i have been toying with the idea of getting a vita for sometime now. I already know of 3 games i wanna play on it(Borderlands 2 will be the 4th). Killzone merc, final fantasy x/x-2 HD and persona 4 golden(Maybe even disgaea xD)
What i cant decide is if i should get the OLED vita, or the LED one.
I dont think i'd mind the weight(I already have a 3ds XL xD) but is the slim vita a significant improvement? Also is the OLED a heck of a lot better?(I've heard a few things about burn-in so...)
Suggestions?
And i'd rather not get the download version of borderlands(Like to have physical games). Damn that bundle -_-

specs are same.

1gb built-in memory added.
OLED is replaced wid ugly LCD.
Slimmer, lighter and improved battery life.
Slimmer looks ugly.

that depends upon buyer's preference. If one doesnt want to buy digital games and memory card, internal 1gb will suffice (for game save purpose only).

I think Sony will not make fat models again, and in near future, fat vita (used or new) will be sold like hot cake.



Anyhow [MENTION=6946]amaga[/MENTION] got slimmer vita, he will shed light on this matter precisely.

yes no more fat ll v available after next few weeks.

btw its lcd is not as bad as u think.

that is y i m thinking to get 1 white/lime green for me

@iNF3RN0 well they have improved battery timing sacrificing the OLED screen etc... lighter feature again with lcd display.. so depends on what u actually prefer.. some minor upgrade to internal components aswell...

it's like the psp slim and psp fat issue here, the fat one had good build and feel to it although quite heavy, the slim one was lighter and improved battery life with increased ram etc but bad build quality although its screen was made more brighter in the last versions.

I have the previous vita.

And the screen quality and display quality.
is not so bad.
I mean, its quite great!
banana likes it.
Beside, get the fatty. :3 my vote goes to the fatty!

about comparison i think [MENTION=6946]amaga[/MENTION] can tell better as he has stock of the slim vita and perhaps can check

I did not played a game on it so I can't say much..from the menu screen..it was bright and rich

in comparison,fay screen looks better.

but i r new in Vita's World.so if u go for slim,it ll not a wrong step.cos u r not use-to with OLED colors.

i used both.if u go for slim,lcd lil dull colors (in comparision).but other side,1,2 hours+ battery time,slim and lighter,rare pad bit smaller have advantage.other then Fat is also good option.

so its up to u now
