Facing an odd issue with my Ufone number, I'm using Samsung A32, 4G doesn't turn on at all also 3G or H+ or E doesn't turn on at all, my network mode is on LTE/3G/2G auto connect but the SIM seems to get stuck on 3G or UMTS mode when I checked it through net monster app, whenever I need to use mobile data I'm needing to turn on airplane mode and turn it, when I do this thing then only the data works and the SIM gets connected to 4G network but it doesn't seem to stick to it and shifts and gets stuck to 3G whenever I make a call or get a SMS, is there an issue with the SIM or my phone?, any tips or suggestions would be helpful

Does anyone with a Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 have wifi calling on Jazz? My mum's got that phone and it's not on her device (but thought of checking in here first before spamming 111).
By default VoWiFi is disabled on xiaomi phones. Have you enabled it by dialing *#*#869434#*#* and enabling it from sim settings and selecting preferred call on wifi?

Since A32 doesn't support Ufone VoLTE, it is bound to downgrade to 3G/2G from 4G during calls and sms. Nothing strange untill here.
As far as network sticking to 3G after call and H+/E non functionality could be a network issue specifically at your location. Try this at different location or try after inserting your ufone sim in a different device. You will figure out if issue is related to network or with your device.

Activate volte on your number then force your cellular network to LTE only. I also had same issue on ufone on Redmi note 9s.

Last time I faced the exact same issue, I had to return my Galaxy S8 as it was a fault with the handset itself.

Thanks for the suggestion but VoLTE isn't yet supported by Ufone for my model, it turned out to be a totally different issue, somehow my data services (2G,3G,4G) got deactivated and I got to know that when I talked to their representative on live chat through the UPtcl (MyUfone) app, they told me the code *7700# to turn on the data services and data started working properly with it shifting back to 4G when I'm done with a call, they also told me Ufone balance saver service code which was *6611# which might help in stopping that annoying balance cut problem of charging like 2.5 rupees something per 1 Mb even when you have an internet package activated and data is off.

While Zong's speed is good across ISB and signal is adequate as well, their browsing feels significantly slower than Jazz for some reason. Takes much longer to load even a basic web page on Zong.

Zong (10 MHz B1 + 15 MHz B3)

Jazz (20 MHz B3 + 10 MHz B8 + 5 MHz B1)

Try overriding the DNS server. Since you're on Android, you can download various DNS changing apps and use Google DNS. See if that helps (it might, it might not).

PTCL is shutting down CharJi on 30th June 2024 and moving everyone to 'Blaze 4G' which seems to be a Ufone product.

I wonder what they'll do with the freed-up spectrum that is currently being used by CharJi.

Wasn't Charji service being offered on 3500 MHz? That spectrum is being vacate for 5G by FAB. Or it was on 1900 MHz?

To this date I have not figured out what CharJi actually uses.

PTCL has spectrum in both 1.9 and 3.5 GHz bands. One is useable for 5G and the other is useless.

Actually, both are usable for 5G. The question is whether they choose to use it or not (and whether the appropriate hardware is available for use by the customers).

If you look at most high-end phones (and this is a very big if), you'll see they tend to accomodate numerous frequency bands from all around the world - this is also why they're pricier than the cheaper alternatives that only carry some frequencies.

Long gone are the days where we'd have a handful of frequencies as was the case with 2G and 3G. I wish we went back to those days. But then, carrier aggregation across different frequencies is needed (where networks are actually robust and governments are actually competent) for those superfast speeds, so...

I've been using Zong VoLTE for about a month, but two days ago I noticed my phone was also activating Zong VoWiFi. However, VoWiFi only seems to work when I switch to a 2G/3G. After successfully connecting to VoWiFi, I can switch to a 4G network and VoWiFi continue to function. The problem arises when I'm not on WiFi. The network then reverts to 3G during calls. my phone appears to have difficulty switching between VoWiFi and VoLTE. Additionally, VoWiFi doesn't automatically activate when I connect to Wi-Fi while using VoLTE. Strangely, I need to manually re-enable 2G/3G networks for VoWiFi to work. I'm wondering if VoLTE and VoWiFi are still under development, causing this issue, or if it's specific to my phone. Should VoWiFi automatically activate on WiFi and seamlessly switch with VoLTE, or is this a common problem?

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
