I'm facing a similar issue in SMITE, I am getting 330 ish ping in EU while i get 240 ish in NA. PTCL Routing has been screwed for about a month for me as well. Currently im using windscribe as a solution to fix this.
Agreed, but the server blocking issue is more annoying.

1. PTCL recently upgraded my vdsl to gpon on their own. I didn't apply for it or anything. Is this normal behavior, i mean is this free upgrade actually happening in lahore, DHA?

2. How soon does the old copper landline number get ported/converted/registered with the gpon system/backend? It's been a whole day for me and the landline is not registered, and I can't even register a complaint because my vdsl number was closed before it could be transferred to gpon. 1218 folks say my number is invalid. How am I supposed to complain on 1218 or online?

3. My gpon parameters on the new modem are also wrong/lower. How is this incompetence even fucking possible.

They've been having promotions for free upgrades / low installation costs for quite a while now so it's normal.

Did they specifically tell you that you'd get the same number you had on VDSL?
Is your GPON connection currently active?

You can always call 1218 and ask them to tell you what services are listed under your CNIC.

Can you post a screenshot of the stats?
How is this incompetence even fucking possible.
PTCL hits new levels of incompetence every day. It's no surprise.

Same, Cloudping.info results in 300+ pings to NA east and west both, While i used to get like 240 ish on NA EAST on cloudping but my SMITE pings are fine to NA but to EU they are screwed. I have tried different ip pools starting with 119, 182, 39 all of them have this issue. I started facing this issue about 2 weeks ago i think. Making a complaint doesnt helps. I will try contacting Omer Shah may be he will have an answer to this mess.

Yes, they can't understand sh*t. Anyways the interesting thing is that the ping in other games are perfectly normal.

Yeah exactly, My brother's Dota is perfectly fine. The only game i get screwed over in is SMITE unfortunately thats the only game i spend most of the my time in. Clocking at more than 2000 hours right now. Getting 1 random 300+ ping screws me over as SMITE is Mechanically skilled game. I think its SMITE's Shitty servers as well. Anyway fingers crossed.

I ordered smart tv on my existing 25 Mbps vdsl on 19th June and as of today 8 working days have passed no one contacted or visited me.
I emailed to care@ptcl they replied with same old crap of be patient we are working on it.
Does ptcl always take this much time for installing iptv on existing connection??? Should I lodge a complain to PTA??

Power is lower, and packet loss is higher. Strange.

Has the patch cord moved at all ever since? Since the only way I could 'simulate' lower power was by bending the patch cord, this would reduce the power a lot, but also increase packet loss by a huge amount.

Edit: Sorry I didn't reply to your other questions. My landline issue and the package issue is thankfully resolved. Now just seeing some weird variance in speed every now and then.

Not really, variance is ~ 0.5 dBm at most i reckon for Tx Optical power, the Rx value was around 18.7 yesterday and is around 19.0 today.

What kind of values are good for Rx, which is the receive signal i reckon, in particular?

Edit: The cloudflare outage could explain the crappy twitch performance? Not sure which cloud twitch is hosted on though. Is amazon=cloudflare?

That amount of variance in Tx power is perfectly normal.

For Rx you're getting 2.25 dBm, which is normal. I'm getting 2.30 dBm right now, and it has been stable for pretty much the past few weeks.

Check the yellow patch cord, if it's bent, or twisted in any way, it will cause packet loss and that will result in fluctuating speeds.

I think you quoted my Tx value. My Rx value is 19.10. Is that normal, similar to what you get?

No haven't opened the box or moved any cables.

I think you quoted my Tx value. My Rx value is 19.10. Is that normal, similar to what you get?
Yes, anything above -16 is normal for Rx. Mine is currently at -22 dBm.

They usually set it at a specific level based on your distance from the FDH.
